mother earth – behind all life cycles

the mother contains us. the soil which births all life, mould all creation, contours the future, promises the new in all possibilities of the now – she is the nurturer. she is mother earth, nourishing civilisation over the ages close to her bosom. it is to her that we must offer our grateful prayers. but the modern madness of mechanisation distances us from the essence of mother nature and all her attempts to sustain us. the earth mother manifests herself in all cycles of life. she tries vainly to save us from man-made calamities. there is still a sliver of opportunity before we are engulfed by deadening destruction. now is the time to turn back from the illusion of development towards the warm comfort of our mother; seeking succour in her loving lap again, our homage will repay our debt as her children.
